TCL 55A400 Pro NXTVISION 55-inch QD-Mini LED 4K Google TV

The TCL 55A400 Pro is a 55-inch 4K QD-Mini LED TV from the A400 Pro NXTVISION series. Its light walnut wood-grain integrated frame and matte screen let you switch to Art Display to show artworks when you are not watching programmes. It suits households who want a TV that blends into the living room without compromising on picture quality.

39.9mm slim body that sits flush against the wall like a framed picture

The TV has a slim integrated bezel with a light walnut wood-grain finish, so there is no need to buy a separate frame kit. There is no external box and no complicated in-wall work, and wall mounting is as simple as with a regular TV; with an ultra-slim wall mount (may need to be bought separately), you get the flushest fit against the wall.

The Halo cooling structure combines high thermal conductivity materials with an optimised airflow path to carry heat away from key components. It works just as well when the TV is mounted close to the wall, keeping performance stable over long viewing sessions. The tabletop stand has two height settings, so you can adjust the viewing height on a desk or cabinet and leave room for a soundbar or ornaments.

Matte HVA screen with nano-crystal anti-glare coating

The anti-glare coating softens screen reflections so the picture looks like a canvas. In a bright living room, artworks and photos still look clear and vivid.

The built-in ambient light sensor detects the light around the TV and adjusts screen brightness automatically, so the picture looks natural whether the room is bright or dim.

Art gallery with around 80 selected artworks built in, no extra subscription needed

Through the T-Exhibition app, you can choose high-resolution artworks by category, such as classic paintings, Impressionism, contemporary art and ink-style works, and some famous classics can be turned from still paintings into moving scenes. When you want a different style, choose a theme and style from more than 100,000 pre-generated AI Art works, and it appears within seconds. Some artworks and features require an internet connection and a TCL account login.

Once the TV and your phone are on the same Wi-Fi network, you can upload phone photos through the TCL Home app to create a photo wall, ambient scenes or a digital clock. Art Display mode can play ambient sound that matches the picture, or you can switch to Bluetooth speaker mode to play your music playlists while the screen shows lyrics or artwork.

QD-Mini LED with 112 dimming zones to reduce blooming

QD-Mini LED combines Mini LED backlighting with quantum dot colour for high contrast and high brightness, with 93% DCI-P3 colour gamut, so artworks, photos and films look rich and lifelike in colour. Precise Dimming divides the screen into independently controlled zones and, together with the matte HVA panel and TCL's light-and-shadow algorithms, reduces blooming. Compared with a standard edge-lit LED TV without zone dimming, blacks are deeper, highlights are brighter and there is more detail.

The TSR AiPQ processor uses AI to analyse each scene in real time and optimise contrast, colour, sharpness and motion; supported HDR formats are Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HLG.

True 144Hz panel for smooth, clear fast scenes

Chase scenes in action films and fast camera turns in new-generation games stay smooth and detailed. VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro suit gaming with a compatible console or computer.

20W ONKYO side-firing speakers with a wide soundstage

ONKYO 2.0-channel Hi-Fi audio uses side-firing speakers to create a wide soundstage, with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, so voices and details stay clear even when the TV is wall-mounted. For more bass or a surround feel, you can add a soundbar through HDMI eARC.

After switching to full smart TV mode, the Google TV platform lets you download your usual apps from the app store. Apple devices can cast content to the TV through AirPlay 2.
