Sonos Era 300 Wireless Speaker

The Sonos Era 300 is a spatial audio wireless speaker designed for Dolby Atmos music, with 6 drivers placed at the front, sides and top. It suits anyone who wants to listen to spatial audio music at home and may later expand the speaker into home cinema rear speakers.

Upward-firing tweeter with purpose-built waveguides fills the room with sound

The Era 300 has 4 tweeters and 2 woofers. The upward-firing tweeter sits inside a directional horn that reflects Dolby Atmos sound off the ceiling. The purpose-built waveguides direct sound to the left, right, front and top.

The two woofers are angled to the left and right to create a stereo effect.

Stream Dolby Atmos music over Wi-Fi

Streaming services such as Apple Music and Amazon Music offer spatial audio music. After you subscribe, add the service to the Sonos App and you can play Dolby Atmos music over Wi-Fi.

One-press streaming with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, and a USB-C port for a turntable

The Era 300 connects to your home network over Wi-Fi 6 and supports Apple AirPlay 2; press the Bluetooth button on the unit to stream directly from a paired device. With the Sonos Line-In Adapter (sold separately; not for use with TVs), the USB-C port on the back can connect a turntable or other source and play it through the Era 300.

Trueplay tunes sound to placement, with capacitive touch controls for quick operation

Trueplay measures how sound reflects between walls and furniture, and adjusts the sound to suit the placement. iOS devices offer quick or advanced tuning, while Android devices offer quick tuning.

The capacitive touch controls on the unit let you quickly control playback, volume and speaker grouping. A microphone switch on the back cuts power to the microphone when switched off.

Use as Sonos soundbar rear surrounds, or pair two as a stereo set

A pair of Era 300 can serve as rear surround speakers for the Arc Ultra, Arc or Beam (Gen 2) (Dolby Atmos content and a compatible TV required), surrounding the listener with side and top channels; when not used as surrounds, the two units can also be set up as a stereo pair.

With the official Sonos Era 300 Floor Stand, the speaker can be raised to seated ear height.
