Sonos Era 100 Wireless Speaker

The Sonos Era 100 is a compact stereo wireless speaker. At 182.5mm tall, a single unit already plays stereo sound. It suits anyone who wants to start with one speaker for music in the bedroom, study or living room; add a second unit later to form a stereo pair or home cinema rear surround speakers.

A larger midwoofer handles the mids and bass, bringing surprisingly deep bass from the compact body. Three Class-D amplifiers are tuned to the speaker's acoustic design.

Uninterrupted streaming over Wi-Fi, with one-press AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth connection

The Era 100 is compatible with Wi-Fi 6, and Apple devices can play music directly through AirPlay 2; press the Bluetooth button on the unit and a paired device can start streaming right away.

With the Sonos Line-In Adapter (sold separately), the USB-C port on the back can connect a turntable or CD player (not for use with TVs), so you can play vinyl records and CDs directly through the Era 100.

Trueplay analyses room acoustics and optimises the EQ for your room

Tuning starts with a single tap in the Sonos App. iOS users can choose Quick Tuning or Advanced Tuning, while Android users can use Quick Tuning; Quick Tuning requires the speaker's microphone to be switched on.

The unit has capacitive touch controls: slide along the volume slider to adjust the volume, or tap to control playback and grouping. When you do not need the microphone, flip the switch on the back to cut power to it.

Pair two as a stereo set, or use as Sonos soundbar rear surrounds

Two Era 100 can be set up as a stereo pair over Wi-Fi; a pair of Era 100 can also serve as rear surround speakers for the Sonos Arc Ultra, Beam (Gen 2) or Ray, adding stereo sound from behind for films and shows. If you already have Sonos products in other rooms, you can group them with the Era 100 to play the same song in every room at once.
