Rasonic RIC-SR328/CG Kitchen Two-Zone Induction Hob (13A/Suitable for Larger Cabinet Space)

The Rasonic RIC-SR328/CG is a two-zone induction hob with a grey body, featuring a quick-heat key and a temperature control mode. It can be used freestanding or built in, and suits households that want to control the power and temperature of the left and right zones separately.

Quick-heat key gives the maximum 2800W at one press

For everyday cooking you can adjust between 9 power levels, covering roughly 300 to 2200W; press the quick-heat key only when more power is needed. At this power the hob reduces its output automatically after about 10 minutes of operation, to protect the product.

The two zones share a total power of 2800W. When one side is running at maximum power, the other side stops its current operation.

Slide controls with a red light ring show the power level at a glance

Slide a finger across the panel to adjust the power or temperature level. The brightness of the red light ring varies with the power level, and it also marks the heating area and residual heat, so you can see which side is still hot, both during cooking and after the hob is switched off.

The left and right zones each have an independent pause key. If you need to step away from the hob, one press pauses cooking on that side and another press resumes it.

Temperature mode in 9 levels, with a setting range of 50-220°C

Temperature starts at 50°C, with intermediate levels at 60, 70, 90, 120, 150, 180 and 200°C, and a maximum of 220°C, so it can be adjusted level by level as needed. The timer can be set from 1 minute to 8 hours; when time is up, the display shows End and a tone sounds, so there is no need to keep watching the clock.

Child safety lock and automatic pan detection

The child safety lock locks the function keys, preventing children or accidental touches from switching the hob on or changing the mode. When there is no suitable cookware on the hob, automatic pan detection keeps sounding, and the hob returns to standby if no suitable cookware is placed on it within 1 minute.

If no key is operated and no timer is set for about 120 minutes during heating, the hob sounds a tone first and then stops heating automatically. The hob has a Grade 2 energy label and a thermal efficiency of 88.6%, with annual energy consumption of 629kWh, which helps with budgeting for electricity.

Before you buy

• Body size is about 742mm wide, 400mm deep and 80mm high.
• Built-in installation needs a cut-out 710mm wide x 368mm deep; leave at least 100mm of space around the body. For built-in use, also allow at least 150mm of height below and an air inlet/outlet of at least 80cm².
• A dedicated 13A socket is required; for a fixed wiring connection, a dedicated switch of 13A or above is required.
• Cookware must be flat-bottomed and suitable for induction hobs; iron or magnetic stainless steel pans both work, with a base diameter of 120-200mm and a maximum of 6kg per zone including the food.
• A light grey version, RIC-SR328/G, is also available with the same specifications.
