Philips PSA2218/00 2-in-1 Semi-Automatic Capsule Espresso Machine

The Philips PSA2218/00 is a 2000 Series 2-in-1 semi-automatic espresso machine with a built-in grinder and an additional capsule handle. It brews with coffee beans, ground coffee or Nespresso Original capsules. It suits anyone who wants to make a quick cup, but also enjoys making espresso by hand.

Dual handle design: switch between capsules and freshly ground coffee at any time

When you have time, use the portafilter with coffee beans or ground coffee and do every step of the brewing yourself. When you are in a hurry, switch to the capsule handle for a quick cup. The capsule handle only works with capsules from the Nespresso Original and Starbucks by Nespresso ranges, 3.7cm in diameter and 2.8cm high.

Stainless steel conical burr grinder with 15 grind settings, so you can choose the right grind for your beans

Push the portafilter against the switch and the machine grinds the preset amount, with no need to hold it. The dosing ring supplied with the machine keeps ground coffee from scattering, making it easy to keep the worktop clean.

15 bar professional extraction system with stable pressure that fully permeates the ground coffee

While brewing, the PID + NTC temperature control system also controls the water temperature precisely, giving your espresso a rich, aromatic flavour.

Creamy System dry steam of up to 150°C for smooth, flowing milk foam

High-temperature steam heats milk quickly, and the foam texture suits latte art. Both dairy milk and plant-based milk can be used. The 360° adjustable steam wand turns freely, so there are no blind spots when frothing milk.

The machine is operated with physical buttons, which is simple and straightforward. A separate deep cleaning mode and descaling mode make regular maintenance of the machine easy.
