Philips EP1220/00 Series 1200 Fully Automatic Espresso Machine

The Philips EP1220/00 is a Series 1200 fully automatic espresso machine. Its built-in grinder grinds fresh coffee beans for each cup, and it comes with a touch display and a classic manual milk frother. It suits anyone who wants to make a simple cup of fresh coffee at home and enjoys frothing the milk themselves.

Hard-wearing 100% ceramic grinder, good for at least 20,000 cups of coffee

The sharp grinder helps extract the aroma and flavour of the coffee beans. There are 12 grind settings, from ultra-fine powder to coarse grounds, so you can adjust the grind to your taste.

While brewing, the Aroma Extract system keeps the water temperature at 90-98°C and regulates the water flow, so the coffee stays at a suitable temperature while its aroma is fully extracted.

Touch display controls, brews two cups of coffee at the same time

In just a few steps, choose espresso, coffee or hot water on the screen. Use My Coffee Choice to adjust the strength and water quantity, so every cup suits your personal taste. When two people at home want coffee at the same time, there is no need to take turns.

Classic manual milk frother for smooth foam on cappuccino

You control the amount of milk foam by hand, so you can make cappuccino or latte to your liking. The milk frother has only two parts and is easy to clean after use.

Brew group can be removed completely and cleaned simply by rinsing with water

When descaling is needed, the machine prompts you automatically, and the prompt frequency can be adjusted to the hardness of your home water. Some accessories, such as the drip tray and coffee grounds container, can be washed in the dishwasher.

With a compatible AquaClean water filter, replace 8 filters one after another as the machine prompts, and you can brew up to 5000 cups of coffee without descaling. The actual number of cups depends on the type of coffee and your cleaning habits.
