Philips AMF870/35 Air Performer 8000 Series 3-in-1 Air Purifier, Fan and Heater

The Philips AMF870/35 belongs to the Air Performer 8000 Series. It is a 3-in-1 air purifier combining air purification, cooling and heating, usable all year round. With a particle CADR of 270m³/h, it delivers purified cool air in summer and ceramic warm air in winter.

NanoProtect HEPA 3-in-1 filter removes 99.97% of particles as small as 0.003 microns

The 3-in-1 filter combines a front filter, activated carbon and NanoProtect HEPA, capturing pollutants with electrostatic attraction. Philips states that its filtration performance is 2x that of a conventional HEPA H13 filter. Based on the cigarette smoke CADR under the NRCC-54013 standard, coverage reaches up to 34m².

VitaShield technology captures aerosols, bacteria and fine particles. Independent testing by Airmid health group shows that it can remove 99.9% of H1N1 virus from the air; the airborne removal rate for coronavirus HCoV-229E measured by a third-party organisation is as high as 99.99%.

Bladeless cooling at 1579m³/h, oscillating up to 350 degrees

The bladeless design delivers a continuous flow of purified cool air without buffeting. The airflow oscillates up to 350 degrees, sending purified air to every part of the room, with 10 fan speed settings.

Ceramic heating in 3 seconds, with temperature adjustable from 1-37°C

When the weather turns cool, ceramic heating technology delivers warm air in 3 seconds. You can set a target temperature of 1-37°C, then adjust the warmth with 10 heat fan speeds; maximum power is 2200W.

Dual-direction airflow technology can be switched as needed: direct airflow gives a cool or warm sensation, while purification circulation airflow focuses on circulating the air in the room.

AeraSense detects PM2.5, allergens and gases, and AI chooses purification or cooling and heating automatically

The AeraSense smart sensor scans the air continuously, detecting PM2.5, allergens, volatile organic compounds, odours and other gases, as well as temperature and humidity; it reacts immediately when pollution rises, and readings can be viewed on the display or in the App.

Once connected to the Philips Air+ App via Wi-Fi, the AI function becomes available. The AI combines air quality, outdoor data, room size and usage patterns to purify the air and deliver cool or warm air automatically, while keeping noise and energy consumption to a minimum.

In the App you can also track indoor and outdoor air quality, control the unit remotely and set schedules, or operate it using the supplied remote control or voice control.

Sleep mode switches the lights off automatically; purification uses 40W

In sleep mode, the light sensor switches the lights off automatically when it detects a dark environment. In auto mode, the motor runs only when needed, extending filter life and saving energy; the noise level is 19-46dB(A). A child lock is also fitted to prevent children pressing buttons by mistake.
