13L large capacity with dual-layer steaming trays

Panasonic NF-SM21 offers a total capacity of 13L, combining a 3L main chamber with two steaming trays providing 10L in total, around 5L per layer. The dual-layer design allows different ingredients to be cooked at the same time, making it suitable for family meals where fish, meat, vegetables or dim sum need to be prepared together.

Both steaming trays are made from 304 food-grade stainless steel, providing a durable and easy-to-clean surface for everyday steaming.

Rapid steam generation with 5 cooking modes

The high-speed heating system can generate steam in around 15 seconds and bring water to the boil in approximately 1 minute, helping reduce waiting time before cooking starts.

It offers 5 cooking modes including Rapid Steam, Gentle Steam, Low Temperature Cooking, Stew and Reheat. With 2100W power, the steamer can handle everyday dishes ranging from vegetables and dim sum to fish, meat and slow-cooked recipes.

Fermentation, preset timer and keep-warm for greater flexibility

In addition to steaming, NF-SM21 also supports defrosting and 3 fermentation programmes for dough, yoghurt and rice wine. Two stewing cups are included for soups, desserts and other recipes requiring gentle steaming.

A preset timer of up to 12 hours allows cooking to be arranged around your schedule, while the keep-warm function can maintain food temperature for up to 8 hours after cooking. A dedicated cleaning function also helps simplify everyday maintenance.
