Kärcher SC 1 Multi Handheld Steam Cleaner

The Kärcher SC 1 Multi is a handheld steam cleaner made in Germany. With 1300W heating, it is ready to use about 30 seconds after switching on, and its compact body makes it easy to deal with localised dirt in the kitchen and bathroom on the spot. It suits households that want to clean hobs, sinks and similar spots whenever needed, without a bulky cleaning tool taking up space.

30-second heat-up and 3bar steam to remove stubborn stains from hobs and sinks

With the handheld nozzle and microfibre cover, the steam can work directly on taps and fittings, sinks, wall tiles, windows and glass, as well as grime on cooker hoods and hobs. Simply fill the machine with water and it heats it into steam for cleaning, so no extra chemical cleaner is needed on suitable hard surfaces.

Used directly on smooth household hard surfaces at maximum steam output and moved at 30cm per second, it removes 99.99% of common household bacteria (tested with Enterococcus hirae). Aimed at one spot at maximum steam output for 30 seconds, it removes up to 99.999% of enveloped viruses (tested with MVA, except hepatitis B virus).

The ergonomic design is comfortable to hold and does not tire the hand easily during cleaning. It can be stored near the places you clean often, ready to pick up when needed.

200ml detachable water tank for refilling during cleaning

When the water runs out, there is no need to stop and wait. Take out the tank, fill it with water and put it back to carry on cleaning without interruption. Each tank of water cleans about 30m².

Soft-touch controls, with LED reminder 1 hour before the descaling cartridge needs replacing

The control panel needs no hard pressing. The LED shows statuses such as heating, ready and steam mode, so you can see at a glance when the machine is ready to use.

Water passes through the descaling cartridge, which removes limescale automatically. Kärcher states that this can extend the machine's service life to 5 times as long. When the cartridge needs replacing, the LED gives a reminder about 1 hour in advance, so you can prepare a new cartridge ahead of time.
