Panasonic FV-30BG4H Ceiling-Mounted Slim Thermo Ventilator 2000W

The Panasonic FV-30BG4H, built around quick ventilation, is a slim ceiling-mounted thermo ventilator with a ventilation rate of up to 220m³/h and 2000W heating power. With heating, clothes drying, ventilation and circulation all included, it suits homes that want steam cleared as soon as possible after bathing.

Quick ventilation at 220m³/h clears moisture fast after bathing

Panasonic states that the quick ventilation rate is 29% higher than that of the previous FV-30BG3H model. When there is a lot of steam after bathing, quick ventilation can be switched on to run at this airflow for 15 minutes, quickly clearing moisture from the bathroom.

For everyday ventilation there are high and low settings, at 190m³/h and 80m³/h respectively, which can run continuously to keep the bathroom dry.

Only 180mm recessed into the ceiling

Including the panel, the body height is 219mm and the panel measures 360 x 360mm; at least 200mm of space must be left between the ceiling board and the floor slab.

2000W heating, with hot drying and cool drying for clothes

The heating timer ranges from 15 minutes to 3 hours. Hot drying can run for up to 6 hours, while cool drying can run continuously; on rainy days, clothes can be hung in the bathroom to dry.

In auto mode, the louvre swings between about 60° and 120°; heating defaults to manual airflow direction, while drying defaults to auto swing so that the air reaches clothes hung in different positions.

Status confirmation button, and an IPX4 splash-proof remote control

Press the status confirmation button once to see which mode the unit is running in and how much time remains, making it easy to plan bathing or taking in the laundry. The unit also has an antibacterial filter.

Before you buy

• Ceiling opening 300 x 300mm; there must be at least 200mm of space between the ceiling board and the floor slab.
• Keep the opening at least 250mm from the wall, and at least 200mm away from curtains and flammable materials.
• Fixed wiring is required, and an all-pole switch and an earth leakage circuit breaker (30mA or below) must be bought separately.
• M8 or M10 hanging rods must be bought separately.
