Panasonic FV-23BW2H Window-Mounted JustFit Thermo Ventilator 1200W

The Panasonic FV-23BW2H window-mounted JustFit thermo ventilator packs heating, clothes drying, ventilation and circulation into a slim body, with 1200W heating power. For homes that focus on heating and clothes drying and do not need the nanoe® X air purification mode, it is a model suited to installation in a small window.

1200W heating with hot start function

If switched on when the bathroom is below about 20°C, the unit starts with heating and the fan runs at low speed first, switching to high speed once the room warms up or after 60 seconds of operation, so cold air is not blown out. The heater stops automatically once the room reaches a certain temperature, and heats again after the temperature drops.

Heating can be timed for up to 180 minutes. Switching on before bathing pre-warms the bathroom.

Warm air drying up to 360 minutes, cool air drying can run continuously

With auto airflow direction, the louvre swings back and forth between about 30° and 90°, and clothes hung within the central range of about 1100mm catch the airflow easily. When hanging clothes, leave at least 50mm between items and at least 200mm from the air outlet; thick clothes hung closer to the air outlet will dry more easily.

Ventilation up to 220m³/h to keep removing bathroom moisture

Ventilation has 2 settings, high and low, and can run continuously, keeping the bathroom dry after bathing and at other times.

Unit and remote control are IPX4 splash-proof, and the antibacterial filter has a 99.9% antibacterial rate

The slim RF wireless remote control must be paired with the main unit before first use. If the remote control is lost, pressing the mode button on the unit operates it temporarily, each run lasting 15 minutes.

The filter has been tested to JIS Z2801 and has an antibacterial effect against both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. When the filter needs cleaning, the cleaning indicator light reminds the user.

Before you buy

• Installation opening 238 x 242mm (W x H), panel 280 x 280mm, body depth 286mm.
• The window insert must be custom-made; aluminium alloy less than 30mm thick is recommended. Install at least 1.8m above the floor.
• No power cord is supplied. The unit must be connected to fixed wiring, and an all-pole switch and an earth leakage circuit breaker (30mA or below) must be bought separately.
• Keep at least 200mm away from curtains and flammable materials.
• The new-generation FV-23BW3H has a ventilation rate of 260m³/h, which Panasonic states is 18% higher than this model.
• If you need the nanoe® X air purification mode, consider the FV-23BWN2H (1400W), also window-mounted.
