Panasonic CS-LU12ZKA 1.5 HP "Smaller" series WiFi intelligent variable frequency net cooling split air conditioner

The Panasonic CS-LU12ZKA from the Smaller series is a 1.5 HP Wi-Fi inverter cooling-only split air conditioner, paired with the CU-LU12ZKA outdoor unit. The unit keeps the dimensions of the 1 HP model in the same series, suiting homes with limited space that need higher cooling capacity than the 1 HP model.

Indoor and outdoor units the same size as the 1 HP model, with cooling capacity raised to 3.25kW

The indoor unit (779 x 290 x 209mm, W x H x D) and outdoor unit (765 x 420 x 289mm) of the CS-LU12ZKA are the same size as those of the CS-LU9ZKA, while the rated cooling capacity rises from 8,830 BTU/h to 11,100 BTU/h. You do not need to set aside a bigger space than for the 1 HP model to choose a model with higher cooling capacity.

The outdoor unit fits on a window ledge and, where the installation environment allows, the whole installation can be done from indoors, without scaffolding. The outdoor unit of the 2 HP CS-LU18ZKA in the same series is also the same size.

nanoe® X Mark 3 effectively inhibits 99.99% of bacteria and viruses

As well as bacteria and viruses, nanoe® X Mark 3 effectively inhibits allergens. It has NACA allergy certification from the National Asthma Council Australia and has passed the German VDI 6022 allergy test. The nanoe technology starts automatically when the air conditioner is switched on, combining nanoe® X and nanoe-G; even when the air conditioner is switched off, purification can be started on its own to keep the indoor air fresh.

After the air conditioner is switched off and on standby, it starts an internal clean automatically, depending on accumulated running time, at most once a day: it runs at low airflow for up to 2.5 hours with nanoe® X on to clean the inside of the indoor unit more thoroughly. You can also start it manually after switching off.

Grade 1 energy label, annual cooling energy consumption 295kWh

The rated cooling capacity is 3.25kW (11,100 BTU/h) and the cooling seasonal performance factor is 5.5672. Use ECO mode day to day to cut power use while staying comfortable; when the room is hot, POWERFUL mode brings it to the desired temperature quickly, and stops automatically after running for 20 minutes.

In humid weather you can switch to dehumidifying mode, in which the air conditioner cools gently at low fan speed and removes 1.6L of moisture per hour, reducing humidity indoors. Sleep mode can be set from 0.5 to 9 hours, during which it adjusts the temperature automatically and dims the indoor unit indicator light so you can sleep comfortably; when you want quiet, quiet mode reduces airflow noise.

When cooling and dehumidifying, the air deflector swings up and down automatically; the left-right direction is adjusted manually.

When choosing an air conditioner, consider the number of occupants, sunlight and insulation as well as room size; for west-facing rooms, top-floor rooms or rooms often used by many people, assess the actual conditions before buying.

Built-in Wi-Fi, remote control through the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App

Wherever you are, you can control the air conditioner from the app, for example switching it on before you get home; the remote control also has a button to turn the Wi-Fi function on or off at any time.

The timer can be set with 2 sets of on and off times, repeating daily, so the unit switches on and off automatically around a fixed routine. After a power cut, once power returns the air conditioner restarts automatically with its last mode and airflow direction (unless a timer is set), with no need to set it again.
