Final Audio TONALITE DTAS Bluetooth Earphones

The Final Audio TONALITE DTAS Bluetooth earphones use DTAS (Digital Twin Audio Simulation) technology to build a personalised sound profile by scanning your upper body, head and ears with a phone, and have a 10mm f-CORE driver, triple-hybrid noise cancelling and LDAC.

Scan your upper body, head and ears with a phone to build your DTAS personal sound

DTAS stands for Digital Twin Audio Simulation. In the DTAS menu of the final TONALITE app, with the supplied DTAS Kit (a headband with identification stickers), you scan your upper body, head and ears with the phone camera, and a cloud server can then determine the actual size of your head and ears.

final says the system uses this to generate acoustic parameters, so that the earphones reproduce a sound close to real-life listening and reduce the colouration added by the earphones themselves.

3 DTAS modes: General, Personalized and Guest

General mode is set from a large amount of body measurement data and can be used without scanning. After you complete a scan, you can switch to Personalized mode.

Personalized Guest mode lets family or friends try their own settings without overwriting your personal profile. The app also lets you fine-tune the tone coefficients.

10mm f-CORE driver with Sony chip triple-hybrid noise cancelling

Each side uses a single 10mm f-CORE for DTAS dynamic driver, carrying over the low-distortion technology of final's A10000 wired earphones.

Noise cancelling uses a Sony Semiconductor CXD3784 chip and is triple-hybrid, combining feedforward and feedback, with 3 Infineon IM73A135 MEMS microphones on each side and a separate call microphone. There are 2 noise cancelling tunings, sound quality priority and noise cancelling priority, and there is also an ambient sound mode.

Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC, 9 hours in the earphones and 27 hours with the charging case

Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity supports the SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs. Multipoint connection can connect 2 devices at once and must be turned on in the app. The earphones have wear detection, which can pause playback automatically.

The earphones play for up to 9 hours on a single charge, and up to 27 hours in total with the charging case. The charging case supports USB-C and Qi wireless charging. The earphones take about 1.5 hours to charge fully, and the charging case takes about 1.5 hours over USB-C or about 2.5 hours wirelessly. The earphones have an IPX4 water resistance rating.
