Philips NA462/79 10L Dual-Layer Air Fryer with Viewing Windows

The Philips NA462/79 stacks two 5L baskets one above the other to make a 10L dual-layer, dual-basket air fryer from the 4000 Series. The two baskets work independently, so two different foods can be prepared at once.

Each basket holds a 1.2kg whole chicken, and the whole machine can handle up to 24 chicken drumsticks or 2kg of vegetables.

Sync finish so both baskets are ready at the same time

Each basket can be set to its own temperature, time or preset; for small portions, use just one basket. When sync finish is turned on, the machine automatically adjusts the start time of one basket so that both finish together.

The copy function applies one basket's time and temperature to the other with a single press, so there is no need to repeat the settings when both baskets cook the same food.

Compared with a conventional electric fryer cooking homemade fries, fat is reduced by up to 90%. Philips in-house lab tests used salmon and chicken breast; compared with a grade A oven, cooking is 40% faster and uses up to 65% less electricity, and actual results vary by recipe. The machine has a power of 2750W, a temperature range of 40-200°C and a timer of up to 60 minutes.

A window in each basket to check cooking progress without pulling it out

The machine has an interior light, and the shake reminder sounds around the middle of cooking to prompt you to shake the food.

Besides frying, roasting and baking, the 13 cooking methods also include defrosting, drying, toasting and braising. The 6 presets are frozen potato snacks, steak, fish, vegetables, chicken legs and reheat, and each preset sets the temperature and time automatically for the food.

The ceramic coating is non-stick and scratch-resistant, and together with the removable parts it shortens cleaning time. The HomeID app also has recipes designed for two baskets, making it easy to get the most from both.
