Noble Audio FoKus Rex5 True Wireless Earbuds

The Noble Audio FoKus Rex5 is the flagship true wireless earbud in the FoKus range. It has 5 drivers per earbud, combining dynamic, balanced armature and planar drivers, and supports LDAC, aptX Adaptive and active noise cancelling.

5 drivers per earbud, mixing dynamic, balanced armature and planar drivers

Each earbud contains 1 x 10mm dynamic driver, 3 x balanced armature drivers and 1 x 6mm planar driver, a 5-driver configuration that mixes the three driver types.

The Rex5 has a frequency range of 20Hz-40kHz and uses the Qualcomm QCC3091 chip.

LDAC, active noise cancelling and Audiodo personalised sound

The Rex5 uses Bluetooth 5.4 and supports the SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive and LDAC codecs.

Active noise cancelling reduces the noise around you, while transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings while wearing the earbuds. The Rex5 also supports Audiodo personalised sound, and the profile is stored in the earbuds' built-in memory, so you do not need to set it up again when you change phone or player.

Gem Green aluminium shell, with wireless charging on the charging case

The shell is made from aluminium and acrylic, and the Gem Green colour was inspired by emerald.

The earbuds play for up to 7 hours on a single charge (noise cancelling off), or 5 hours with noise cancelling on, and the charging case adds a further 18-25 hours. The aluminium charging case supports USB-C and wireless charging, and 15 minutes of charging gives about 2 hours of playback.

Before you buy

• LDAC and aptX Adaptive require a playback device that supports the matching codec.
• Wireless charging requires a separate wireless charging pad.
• 1-year warranty.
